ICKL 2026 Conference Theme
The ICKL 2026 conference theme was Variation and Diversity in Korean Linguistics. Variation and diversity are at the heart of linguistics research. They also describe the field of Korean linguistics which is expanding into new empirical domains, new fields of interdisciplinary and collaborative study, and greater global participation from diverse researchers and scholars. The conference aims to bring a wide diversity of language researchers together from around the world, including established researchers and students in Master’s and PhD programs conducting their own research.
The conference celebrated the 50th anniversary of ICKL’s founding in 1975
